As one of New York's most in-demand bassists, Illinois native Harish Raghavan is described as “riveting to watch, a picture of control and total commitment.” Harish began his 15-year career in Los Angeles after being accepted into University of Southern California to further his studies on the bass with John Clayton and, later on, Robert Hurst. There, he would develop his own individual sound, discover a love for teaching, and meet long-time friends and frequent collaborators. Harish currently resides in Brooklyn and continues to teach privately.
