My name is Jonathan Greenstein. I'm a saxophone player and composer originally from Tel-Aviv, Israel. Now I'm living in Brooklyn, after having graduated from Berklee College of Music.

I have played and studied with many musicians who have influenced me in many ways. They include Hal Crook, Darren Barrett, Myron Walden, George Garzone, Avishai Cohen, Bill Pierce, Ralph Peterson, Joe Lovano, Amos Hoffman, Amikam Kimelman, Avi Leibobich and Omer Avital, to name a few.

I was blessed to have the opportunity to perform at the Blue Note NYC, Fat Cat, Smalls, HR-57, SugarBush, Wally's, The lilly pad, The Hard-Rock Cafe, Marakia, Levontin 7 and the Goldstar Zappa, As well as playing in various festivals such as The Red Sea Jazz Fest, The Tel-Aviv Jazz Fest, The Israel Festival and more.

I was a member of the IDF military band, The Tel-Aviv Big Band and the Holon Big Band, featured both as a soloist and an arranger and played with many international and Israeli stars.
