Noah Kellman is a composer, pianist, and songwriter based out of the Central New York Area. He began playing the piano when he was 10 years old in his school jazz band. Since then, he has been the pianist in the 2009 GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles. He attended the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program in 2008, and was fortunate enough to receive an ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award for his composition "Get Lost." At the end of his senior year of high school, he was selected for the Downbeat Student Music Award for "Best High School Jazz Soloist." In 2010, he attended the Brubeck Institute for a year, where he performed with such greats as Christian McBride and Nicholas Payton. He currently attends SUNY Purchase.
