Saxophonist Asaf Yuria is one of the leading young voices on the new york jazz scene. Graduated with honors from the prestigious New School for jazz and contemporary music under the close guidance of some of the great masters of music like Reggie Workman, Billy Harper, George Cables, Billy Hart Charles Tolliver and more. Performed with music legends such as Freddie Redd, Kirk Lightsy and also the colossus drummer Jimmy Cobb. In the past couple of years Asaf has been an integral part of the great bassist Omer Avital's quintet. Yuria's warm sound and hard driving feel has made him the in demand saxophonist he is today.
