Ohad Talmor is a saxophonist, composer and arranger. He is originally from Israel, grew up in Switzerland and is now a long time New York/Brooklyn resident. He plays regularly with his own group; OHAD TALMOR NEWSREEL (with Shane Endsley, Dan Weiss, Jacob Sacks, Miles Okazaki, Matt Pavolka) as well as musicians such as Jason Moran, Dave Douglas, Carla Bley Big Band, Billy Hart and many others, most of whom do not have major recording contracts, which is just as well.
