Big, bad beauty from Boise, Idaho, Emily Braden has the innate ability to win the heart of any audience with her powerhouse vocals and striking stage presence. Winner of New York City’s prestigious "Best of the Best" Jazzmobile Vocal Competition, her signature sound is an effortless blend of jazz and soul. As a resident of Harlem and a celebrated name on the NYC’s jazz scene for over a decade, Braden has graced the city's iconic stages and plays internationally as well and has twice represented the US arts community abroad with the US Embassy’s Arts Envoy Program. Her formal studies include a two year vocal jazz program under the guidance of big band arranger Dave Barduhn and an intensive private mentorship with eminent pianist and vocalist Louise Rose in Victoria, British Columbia. Her sophomore album Cannon & Sparrow was released on all platforms on March 17th, 2023.
