The SmallsLIVE Foundation for Jazz Art & Education is a not-for-profit arts organization.
Our mission is to subsidize the operation of our venues, recording projects, tours and educational initiatives.
During this Covid-19 pandemic our mission is to keep the clubs floating until business can be restored.
We will also sponsor live-streamed concerts from the club that will keep the musicians working during this period.
We will also be offering emergency aid for Jazz musicians in need due to this calamity.

Upcoming Shows
Saxophonist/pianist/arranger/composer/educator, and have been living in NYC for the past 10 years. My latest project, Travis Sullivan's Bjorkestra, is an 18 piece big band that performs my arrangements of Bjork's music. We play in NYC quite often and recently I conducted the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra in Palermo, Sicily, performing these arrangments. My other current projects include two fairly new bands called Identity Crisis and The Casual Sextet. In these bands I play saxophone and my original compositions with some amazing musicians. I also perform in Danny Zanker's Anti-Elevator Mission (two tracks from our CD "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" I've included for your listening pleasure) and Sean Nowell's Firewerks Quintet. My first (and only to date) CD as a leader is Travis Sullivan's Project One, As We Speak, which is a collection of 10 original compositions and features guitarist Rez Abbasi and drummer Ari Honig. This CD is available for download via ITunes and here on MySpace! I have also included here my composition "Last Tango in NYC", which was written for The Four Bags, a New York based chamber ensemble with clarinet, accordion, electric guitar, and trombone. Enjoy! My other credits include a book of transcriptions "The Eric Dolphy Collection" for Hal Leonard, a number of books that I have engraved for Music Minus One, and a number of arrangements for The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra.Weblinks:profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=40947032www.bjorkestra.com/
