Karen Stachel, flutist, trained in both classical and jazz and infuses styles from R&B, rock, and folk, creating a soulful flute sound. She co-leads, performs and composes for the jazz group LehCats which is founded by herself and her husband, Norbert Stachel. She has collaborated in performances and recordings with notable musicians from the jazz and classical music world, notably Wallace Roney, Buster Williams, Lenny White, John Benetiz, Edsel Gomez, Lonnie Plaxico and many others. She has recorded music with LehCats in 2016 (Out Of The Bag) and 2018 (Movement To Egalitaria).
