Electrifying Lebanese-Canadian drummer, Sanah Kadoura has received a Diploma, Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Jazz performance. Sanah has performed and toured the world with masters of the music as well as young up and comers. Sanah has shared the stage with the legendary Kirk Lighstey,(Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, Chet Baker), Philip Harper (Art Blakey), Ed Cherry (Dizzy Gillespie) Mark Whitfield (Herbie Hancock), Joe Locke, Stacy Dillard, Tivon Pennicott, Roy Hargrove, Sullivan Fortner, among many others.
Sanah has produced for artists such as Nicholas Payton, Jenn Beaupre, Michael Louis-Smith, and many others.
Based in Brooklyn, New York, as well as being a supporting artist Sanah also leads her own trio, quartet, quintet and sextet, with which she tours and records with. Her Debut Album Hawk Eyes, released Nov.11/18 featuring James Genus (Herbie Hancock, SNL) Jeremy Pelt, Mark Whitfield, Tivon Pennicott, Eylem Basaldi and Willerm Delisfort, was received with great acclaim from Down Beat and Jazz Times Magazines and they both did features on Ms.Kadoura, recognizing her as a composer, musician, brain injury survivor and a woman in an empowering position, a female drummer.
