Pucci Amanda Jhones ‘ musical journey began on international catwalks, where she modeled while completing her BFA in Classical and Contemporary Music at New York's The New School. Her ascent through the jazz world has led to collaborations with legends of the genre—from Ben Riley to Jackie Terrasson, Spike Wilner, and Freddie Cole. Her résumé reads like a who's who of jazz royalty: Dizzy Gillespie, Kenny Barron, Cindy Blackman Santana, Reggie Workman, Stanley Turrentine, Casey Benjamin, Hilliard Greene, Joe Vincent Tranchia, Bobby Sanabria, Roy Hargrove, and Houston Person.
Pucci's voice—sultry yet ethereal—captivates globally. From Tokyo's Park Hyatt to Athens' Half Note Jazz club in Greece , audiences remain spellbound long after performances end.
Her tour with the Daniel Kramer Trio—fifteen sold-out Russian venues back-to-back—cemented her status in contemporary jazz's pantheon.
The Randy Cannon Trio welcomed Pucci to their Bangkok ensemble, where her performances at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit's Living Room Jazz Club blossomed into a three-year residency.
In Manhattan, Pucci's voice has filled venues from intimate Feinstein's and Kitano Hotel to historic Minton's and Lenox Lounge in Harlem. Her New York presence spans the Blue Note and Central Park's Summer stage series. Pucci and her Quartet landed a one-year residency at Parker’s Lounge located at Thompson Hotel, 4 year residency at Alvin & Friends, and renowned Mezzrow Jazz Club NYC.
Pucci's voice unfolds like midnight silk—smoky below, crystalline above—stretching vowels across unexpected beats while condensing phrases into bursts of raw emotion. She navigates compositions' edges with precision, revealing hidden dimensions in familiar melodies. Her performances are physical poetry: fluttering fingers telegraph improvisations, half-closed eyes reach for impossible notes that hang suspended in Manhattan's most discerning jazz venues.
