Yonathan is a New-York based trombonist, pianist, composer, and band leader. As a 2017 Honors graduate from The New School of Jazz, where he studied with world-renowned artists such as Reggie Workman, Billy Harper, and Charles Tolliver, he has been leading a number of New York and Tel-Aviv based projects such as Yonathan Peled Quintet, JT & Magnificent Soul, and the TM Street Band. His original music makes audiences dance and engage in high energy, joyful, and mood lifting nights. As an in-demand trombonist in New-York city’s jazz scene, Yonathan performed with many world-class bands and artists such as Yemen Blues, The Eyal Vilner Big Band, Nation Beat, Ravid Kahalani, Omer Avital, David Broza, and many more. Yonathan has performed in world renowned music festivals and venues such as Red Sea Jazz Festival (Israel), Bern Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Music in Pflegidach (Switzerland), Smalls Jazz Club, Joes Pub, Nublu 151, Drom, Bar Lunatico, Wildbirds, L’archiduc (Belgium), Wilson Live, Cellar Dog, and many more.
