Omer Leshem is NYC-based saxophone player and composer from Herzlia, Israel. Omer's compositions are influenced by his affection for traditional jazz but also integrate concepts from classical music, a middle eastern tinge as well modern and free jazz.For a decade, he has been performing in venues and festivals in different countries including Germany, Romania, Russia, Canada, Israel, and USA. Additionally, he participated and won several jazz competitions such as EUROFEST (Romania 2009), Red Sea JazzFest Youth Competition (Israel 2009 & 2010), AICF Competition (2011) and Rostov International Jazz Competition (Russia 2014).
