Feldman was born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina. After becoming a founding member of the band Los Musicos del Centro and working with two of South America’s most influential artists, Hermeto Pascoal and Dino Saluzzi, Feldman moved to Buenos Aires, where he became immersed in that city’s jazz scene for the next decade, becoming a highly on demand studio musician, recording more than 40 albums as a sideman and touring with the most outstanding artists in Argentina such as Litto Nebbia, Luis Spinetta, Fito Paez, Dino Saluzzi among others. He won the "Outstanding Performance Award for Best Soloist in Fusion Music" in 1986.  In addition, he obtained the "Berklee College of Music Achievement Scholarship Award", where with the training of the best jazz teachers, he graduated cum laude in Professional Music".  Based in New York since 1991, Feldman is known for his splendid tonalities and melodically outstanding charts. The Argentinean native demonstrates his superb skills on alto, tenor and soprano saxes, while employing a wide range of Pan-American references, from straight ahead to tango to candombe to samba to mambo.  Oscar has recorded and toured internationally with notable artists such as guitar legend Al Di Meola, Dino Saluzzi, Grammy winner and top producer/arranger Eumir Deodato, Jeff Tain Watts, Avantango, Paquito D'Rivera's United Nations Orchestra, Mingus Big Band and Alex Acuna, at prestigious venues such as the Vienna Opera House, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Town Hall in New York City, Park La Villette in Paris, the Blue Note in NYC, as well as many International Jazz Festivals in Europe, the Americas and Africa.   In 1999 Oscar recorded on the album "Tropicana Nights" with a big band conducted by Paquito D'Rivera, which received the Latin Grammy Award 2000 for "Best Latin Jazz Album".   Feldman was recruited to record on the soundtrack of Ang Lee's acclaimed movie "Lust, Caution".  Feldman has also toured in Spain with Bebo Valdes and His All-Star Latin Jazz Band, and performed in Greece with his own band, featuring Horacio Negro Hernandez.   In 2011 Oscar joined the Caribbean Jazz Project, led by Grammy award vibraphonist Dave Samuels, touring in Europe and Japan.  His debut album "El Angel" received rave reviews and features guest appearances by Gato Barbieri, Claudio Roditti, Alex Acuña and Paquito D'Rivera.      For his second album, “Oscar e Familia”, Feldman enlisted an all-star band, featuring drummer Antonio Sanchez (Pat Metheny Group, Chick Corea), upcoming pianist Manuel Valera, bassist John Benitez and percussionist Pernell Saturnino for his core group.  Special guests on several tracks were Mark Turner, Diego Urcola, Pablo Aslan & Cuartetango, and Argentinean pop star Luis Alberto Spinetta.   Oscar has toured Europe with Fusion Revolution together with Alex Acuna,Tom Kennedy and Otmaro Ruiz.  His latest CD “GOL” has received rave reviews from fans and music critics.
