Lucy Yeghiazaryan was born in a small province of Armenia and moved to The United States in 2001 at the age of 11. She has been an active member of the jazz community in and outside of the country since her teenage years. In New York, Yeghiazaryan can be found playing at Smalls, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Smoke and The Kitano. Lucy Yeghiazaryan leads a regular Tuesday session at Mezzrow Jazz Club and has a monthly residency at the historic Showman's Jazz Club in Harlem with her organ trio.
Yeghiazaryan has shared the stage with Grant Stewart, Winard Harper, Herold Maborn, Don Braden, Steve Williams, Rodney Whitaker, Terell Stafford, Bernadette Peters, George Colligan, Arto Tuncboyaciyan and many more. She has served as a resident vocalist for the National Armenian Jazz Orchestra for various performance seasons and was one of the 10 finalists in the International Monk Jazz Competition in 2015.
