John is active worldwide performing for jazz clubs, clinics and festival appearances. Most recently, John has been working on Broadway on the hit show Chicago. John based in New York City, has performed and recorded with some of the worlds jazz greats including Clark Terry, Warren Vache, Ken Peplowski, Wynton Marsallis, Rich Matteson, Ruby Braff, Al Cohn, Slide Hampton, Bobby Shew, Louie Belson, Jake Hanna, Bucky & John Pizzarelli, Scott Hamilton, Ralph Sutton, Ross Tompkins and Dick Hyman and more. At home in the city, John has worked with The Carnegie Hall Jazz Band, Toshiko Akioshis Big Band, Vince Giordanos Nighthawks, and the Louis Armstrong Centennial band just to name a few. In the late 80s John was lead trombonist and featured soloist with the legendary Woody Hermans Young Thundering Herd.
