Jesse Elder is a 25 year old jazz pianist and composer born and raised in Michigan, living and Brooklyn, NY. He studied at Interlochen Arts Academy, Oberlin Conservatory & New School University. He continues to receive a rich and diverse musical education every day through studying, practicing, performing, and collaborating. Jesse is a 3 x winner in the national "ASCAP Young Jazz Composer's Competition". In addition to 6 steady gigs per week at venues such as Destino and Rothmann's Steakhouse Jesse has performed at the Blue Note, the Jazz Standard, Small's, Fat Cat, BargeMusic, Minton's Playhouse, Town Hall, Top of the Rock, and many other venues.
