Michael Zilber Quartet

Leading San Francisco Saxophonist Michael Zilber, whom  NEA Jazz Master David Liebman has called "one of the best players and composers anywhere. Period!", will be doing material from his new Origin records CD Originals for the Originals as well as other new material. His latest release is hailed as "one of the premier releases of all time on Origin Records" by Jazzweek Programmer of the year Dr. Brad Stone and praised as "a perfect marriage of head and heart" by Hobart Taylor of KICU FM. Michael will be joined on the date by special guest Rachel Z Hakim on piano, as well as bassist Jonathan Toscano and drummer Marko Marcinko.
