This trio has played and recorded together for 20 years and have “a practically telepathic integration” (Lawrence Brazier, Jazz Now). Vocalist Kendra Shank was dubbed “imaginative and daring” by Steve Futterman in The New Yorker and “a combination of power and perfume” by Neil Tesser in the Chicago Reader. She brings Frank Kimbrough on piano and Dean Johnson on bass for an evening in our acoustic room.
