Jonathan Toscano is an emerging bass player enjoying collaborations with world class talent on the international stage.    New York-born Toscano’s dynamic style on upright and electric bass has brought him major performing credits with celebrated artists.   Toscano’s past collaborators include Gregoire Maret, Billy Kilson, Kader Japonais and Minu Cinelu.    Toscano has performed at the Blue Note in Beijing (2017); Winter Jazz Fest in New York City (2017); The X Jazz Fest in Berlin, Germany  (2016); the Dobos Festival in Cegled Hungary (2016); and the Zadymka Jazz Festival in Bielsko-Biala, Poland (2014).   Currently collaborating with drum master Omar Hakim and virtuoso pianist Rachel Z, Toscano’s harmonic range and percussive feel have made him a sought after man on the bandstand in his early career.    Marko Marcinko has been carrying out his staunch, all-embracing musical career since age 14. Being a part of a musical family, you can say Marko’s love and need to learn more about music, was already dyed-in-the-wool at a young age. Marko credits his playing style and musical drumming touch to Professor Steve Bagby, Joe Morello, Steve Rucker and Steve Smith four of his great teachers. Marko graduated with a BM in music performance from The University of Miami and was touring through out the world by this time. After college he joined Maynard Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band touring the US, Europe, South America, Canada and recording for Concord Records. For the past 17 years Marko has been a member of the NEA Jazz Master Dave Liebman Group and The Dave Liebman Big Band. He has recorded or performed with: Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, Jon Faddis, Tierney Sutton, Kurt Elling, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern and Will Lee to name a few. Marko is also the director of jazz studies at Penn State University and the artistic director for the Pa Jazz Alliance and the Scranton Jazz Festival. Marko is a Yamaha, Zildjian, Vic Firth and Aquarian Drum Heads endorser. He has had mention in countless magazines, newspapers and trade publications. He currently tours and records with The Organik Vibe Trio featuring Joel Frahm and Ron Oswanski.
